Biography

 Veronica  Herrera was born in San Antonio, Texas. She received her BFA in drawing, from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She received her MFA, in painting and drawing, from the University of Colorado at  Boulder. She has exhibited nationally and in notable spaces such as the Museo de las Americas, the Arvada Center for the Arts, Denver Art Museum, CU Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Art Fort Collins, and the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. She is a member of the Chicano Humanities Arts Council, Women's Caucus for Art, and Los Fantasmas Artist Collective. She currently teaches painting and drawing at the University of Colorado Denver and is a Liquitex Art Educator.
